Workshop: Maya Waldman – Bluegrass

This workshop will get your toes a thumping and your spine a tingling! During Maya’s workshop you will explore the delights of American Bluegrass, which fuses Scots Irish music, gospel, blues and harmony singing. Maya is a creative and experienced community musician who teaches with great skill and warmth. She worked for 6 years in London on a variety of projects with a range of groups, spanning from music for early years, to singing for homeless people and has worked extensively in health settings. Maya now lives on the Carmarthenshire/ Pembrokeshire border and leads Sweet Harmony, a thriving 50-strong community choir in Carmarthen, as well as a number of other local groups. www.singingforeveryone.co.uk
